Stagnance
Boy never have I felt this strongly before. Sitting at home or in the library realizing I have 3 years left of school and maybe living at home. Some good friends leaving after this semester and growin up. While i’m still here as a theoretical 19 yo coz of my class load. 2 steps forward and 4 steps back it seems.
At this point a year ago I was:
-chugging along nicely through my old major and gettin my grades up
-happily caught up with a girl
-feeling like i have a future most importantly
this year things just seemed to backfire with my new plan at life:
-got sick for 2 weeks leaving me potentially screwed with classes/grades
-finding out i won’t graduate till maybe 2013 thus making me ineligible for an air force program i was signing up for
the advisor even told me “to be honest i don’t think you” ever graduate!”
It could be worse, but I pray that I have the patience to endure 2-3 more years of this.
